CoCo Lee Fumes Over Chinese Piracy
Reuters reports pop diva CoCo Lee got plenty of attention at a press conference during a visit to Beijing to tape an awards show for China MTV. Lee used the opportunity to speak out for the anti-piracy cause after a reporter asked if she could top the 1.5 million copies sold of her last album, only 300,000 of them in Mainland China, with 2 million this time around. “Japan!” she blurted. “Why is the Japanese market second in the world, even though their population is much less than ours in China? Because they don’t have piracy.”
