Damien Leith On ‘Saving Kids’, Acoustic Shows, New Single

‘Australian Idol’ season four champ checked in with his MySpace friends (@damienleith) on Wednesday (February 13) with the following bulletin:

Hi Guys,

Just thought I’d drop by to see if you all enjoyed the first episode of Saving Kids on channel Ten. The feedback so far has been great and I have to say that each week it gets better. This week we continue to follow the story of baby Lewis who’s big brother Billy gives him the life-saving bone marrow. We also continue the story of Grace who had the horrific quad bike accident and introduce a new story about nine year old Ashley who is given the gift of hearing for the first time. For more info go to www.savingkids.com.au

Other news, I have just announced two special acoustic performances in the Vanguard, Newtown in Sydney (http://www.thevanguard.com.au). The shows will be very intimate and will cover both my original songs and some of the classic acoustic greats that I grew up listening to; artists like Neil Young, Don Mclean, Cat Stevens, Roy Orbison, to name a few. Seats are pretty limited so get in fast, tickets can be purchased through moshtix. www.moshtix.com.au

Other than all of that, my new single ‘Not just for the weekend’ is starting to get great airplay thanks to all your requesting, keep up the good work! Anyway, take care guys and I hope to see you all soon. Oh, and a very Happy Valentines Day!!!

Damien
