David Archuleta Praises ‘Down To Earth’ Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony

updated fans on his blog at MySpace (@davidarchuleta) on Tuesday (January 20), talking about a busy week that included a Hard Rock Cafe show in New York City, a Radio Disney appearance, performing at Sundance, and heading to Washington, DC for the presidential inauguration. The ‘American Idol’ season seven runner-up tells readers:

I then flew out to DC to sing the National Anthem at a Latino Gala event on Sunday, one of the events going on for the week of the inauguration. Some of the performers were War, Paulina Rubio, Alejandro Sanz, and , and I really enjoyed watching them. I got a chance to talk to Jennifer and Marc, and they were some of the coolest people I have ever met! It’s awesome because my mom is a huge fan of both of them, and they’re both incredibly talented. I love meeting people who are really well known and stuff, and you expect them to act all big and important, when they are some of the most down-to-earth cool people you’ve ever met haha. That’s how they were, and I really respected them for that. And I hope I can sing like Marc when I’m older.

So another thing I got to do was go the the Museum of Natural History in DC, which I LOVED! I’m such a fan of things like museums lol. And there was so much to look at there. They had a lot of prehistoric animal skeletons to look at, and I got some pictures so I’ll load those up. But seriously, if you live in that area you need to go that museum! It’s a lot of fun. Well, at least if you like museums it’s fun.
