Elton Apologizes To Hear’Say For Ugly Comment

The Sun reports Elton John apologized to Hear’Say when he ran into the band at Monday’s Royal Variety Performance for his comments to the Sun in September calling Hear’Say “The ugliest band I’ve ever seen. Danny looks like Shrek. I feel sorry for them.” At the time, Myleene Klass was very unhappy at the comments and fired back, “When he-s finished playing with his wig he can talk about us being ugly. I was really upset.”

Timberlake Checks Out Elton Show

November 29, 2001 - WireImage.com has photos of ’s being photographed with music legend Elton John as the *NSYNC’er watched Elton perform ‘Songs from the West Coast Tour’ at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday.

Timberlake was dressed in a brown leather jacket along with blue jeans, while Elton was head to toe dressed in black. The pair had previewed Elton’s new music video for ‘This Train Don’t Stop There Anymore’, where Justin plays the role of a young Elton.

Justin To Play Young Elton

November 16, 2001 - Peoplenews.com reports *NSYNC’s Justin Timberlake has been cast by Elton John to star as a younger version of himself in his new video. Timberlake will don sideburns, flares and platform shoes to represent a 70s version of the singer, and will be joined by Paul Reubens, better known as Pee Wee Herman. The format of mouthing to Elton’s music will be similar to the Robert Downey Jr. version of his song, ‘I Want Love’.

Hear’Say Near Completion on 2nd Album

October 25, 2001 - Dotmusic reports manufactured UK pop band Hear’Say are just about through recording their second album entitled ‘Everybody’ with a planned December release date. A single bearing the same name will be released first off the album that their label calls a formation of the “is a who’s who of all the best writers and producers.” Hear’Say have sold 1.2 million copies of debut album ‘Popstars’.

September 30, 2001 - The August search queries on Goto.com for Hear’Say are out and the band has a rather small total of 4,572 searches for ‘Hear’Say’. As for the individual band members, is the clear leader with 1,175 searches, with Myleene Klass at #2 with 333. had only 100 searches, and Noel Sullivan had 75. Danny Foster didn’t make the 25 search query limit to even get listed.
