made an appearance on Walmart Soundcheck, where the New York singer songwriter performed ‘Not Over You’, ‘Sweeter’, ‘Run Every Time’, ‘Soldier’ and ‘Candy’ - all from his new album ‘Sweeter’, as well as his 2005 single ‘Follow Through’.

During an interview, the singer songwriter discussed the making of his new record ‘Sweeter’, working with someone else for the first time on the songwriting, having a more diverse record than his previous efforts, deciding not to be romantic on every song, how the location music is made influences the sound, Sam Cooke being his favorite influence, his view that ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ was the most important record ever made, and how his growth as an artist hasn’t come easy.
