During an appearance on K-FROG 95.1 in Colton, California on Tuesday, Jessica Simpson talked about transitioning from pop to country music with her new single ‘Come On Over’.

I really just wanted to showcase the talent that God has given me and I don’t believe that in pop music I ever had the chance to stand on two feet and stand firm and just feel comfortable and really just use what God has given me. Through country music and with the lyrics and it’s okay to do a ballad and it could be played on the radio, it doesn’t really happen in the pop world.”
