Gene Simmons A Big Fan Of Britney Spears & *NSYNC

March 27, 2002 - Beat.com.au spoke with KISS guitarist Gene Simmons on whether he thinks today’s top pop acts will have 30-year careers like his band and The Rolling Stones. Simmons replied, “At the end of the day the only thing that matters is - of the people, for the people, by the people. If the people like it, then that’s the end of it. You and I could sit on the sidelines and say ‘ah yes, but it doesn’t last for 30 years’ and ‘ah yes, but it’s not like my music’. I’m a big fan of Brittney Spears and *NSYNC and anyone that does what they do well.”

*NSYNC’s Denver Show Tepid At Best

March 26, 2002 - Mark Brown of The Rocky Mountain News was at Monday night’s *NSYNC concert held at Denver’s Pepsi Center and didn’t leave very happy. Sure, the natural expiration date is coming up fast, but the band is hastening its own demise with this tour, a clear attempt to cash in while the cash is still there.”

Ana Maria Spends Weekend With *NSYNC In Vegas

March 26, 2002 - Ana Maria of Eden’s Crush posted on her official website on Friday (3-22), “Anyhow, I’ve been having a lot of fun lately! I saw *NSYNC’s show in Phoenix and in Vegas and had the best time! I love the new show! They are having a lot more fun on stage and it’s a lot more relaxed then last years tour. Backstage everyone was chilling and no one seemed to be in a hurry. So, I spent last weekend in Vegas with some of the guys, and I won $614 just rolling dice at craps for the first time… I’m not a Gambler, but I had a lot of fun.” Ana is currently working on her solo album in Los Angeles.
