Yet More Corporate Sponsorship For *NSYNC Tour

March 19, 2002 - Candie’s, Inc. announced today its tour ticket promotion with *NSYNC on their current Celebrity 2002 tour. Candie’s has developed a dual in-store promotion for consumers and sales associates, which includes an exclusive sound-check party in each city, which entitles winners to see the boys rehearse for their big performance later that evening. Candie’s is also giving consumers in each market the chance to win tickets to a sold out concert by *NSYNC. Despite all of the corporate sponsorship and what *NSYNC admits is a scaled back show, ticket prices are topping $100 for preferred seating.

Celebrity Tour Musical Enhancement Of The Album

March 16, 2002 - Kirk Baird of the Las Vegas Sun previewed this weekend’s *NSYNC shows in Vegas using many of the quotes from JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick’s press conference a month ago. Chris said of the Celebrity tour’s difference from last year’s Pop Odyssey tour, “So (this tour) is basically a good musical enhancement of the album now. People have had time sleep with the album and then come in and say, ‘Oh, I know these songs now, I’m ready for the ‘NSync show,’ rather than (saying), ‘I can’t wait to go to the show to hear what the new stuff is.'”
