Rachel Stevens tells The Mirror she asked ‘Pop Idol’ season one champ Will Young for advice on how to launch an acting career. “I’ve asked him for guidance now he’s an established actor,” the former S Club star said at the premiere of Will’s movie debut, ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’. She added that being single has been enjoyable and she won’t be looking for a new man any time soon. “To be honest, I love it,” she revealed. “I get to watch whatever I like on TV.”
Will Young Hopes To Get Script Green Lighted
November 27, 2005 - Neil Sean of Sky News reports that Will is hoping the acclaim he’s received for his big-screen debut ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’ will help get his own script a green light. “It’s something I’ve worked on for years,” the ‘Pop Idol’ champ told a source. “It’s semi-autobiographical.”

November 18, 2005 - The Sun reports that Will is so impressive in his role in the British film ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’ that Hollywood execs are touting him as the next Hugh Grant. “He is going to the U.S. premiere of ‘Mrs. Henderson’ and is meeting top Hollywood bigwigs when he’s out there,” a spokesman for the ‘Pop Idol’ champ said. “They really like him. Recently the only English gent they’ve had is Hugh Grant. They see Will as a cooler, younger version of that type who can sing, dance and also do comedy. He’s the whole package as far as they are concerned. And his meetings tie in really nicely because next year we’ll be launching his music in the States too.”
