Sarah Nixey Has Completed Her New Album

Sarah Nixey checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace (@sarahnixey) on Monday (May 10) with an update on the follow-up to her 2007 solo debut ‘Sing, Memory’. The former Black Box Recorder vocalist writes:

I am very pleased to say that I have finally completed the new album. After spending a year writing the songs and recording demos, I decided to produce the record myself. Here I am behind the desk getting my hands dirty.

The extremely talented and generous musicians who worked on this album are Jimmy Hogarth (guitars), Mark Lodge (piano/cello), Tim Weller (drums), Rupert Ring (double bass), John Moore (saw) and Liz Corcoran (violin). Now the songs are in the magic hands of Tim Bran who will be mixing them over the next few weeks and so far I’m delighted with the results.
