It appears Amanda Latona has been signed to Simon Cowells label overseas. This information was released to Amanda’s fans via her long standing fansite, Amazingly Amanda.
You may remember Amanda as ‘A.J. McLean’s ex. Or as a former member of the all girl group Innosense. Beyond that, her fame has been very limited. She was briefly signed to J records, but was let go from the label for unknown reasons.
If Amanda manages to get a album out, it will put her way ahead of what many see as her big competition. Sarah Martin. The 2 have been compared non-stop since the beginning of Sarah’s relationship with A.J. McLean. Martin however, hasn’t managed to land a deal, and is nearing the age of 30. Her online fan base took a huge hit when her ‘Amazingly Amanda’ aka ‘All for Sarah’ closed it’s doors. Sarah managed to get signed to Dreamworks briefly, but was dropped within a very short period of time.
One thing Amanda definitely has over her is a large, and loyal fan following. These fans were not deterred by Denise McLean’s book, which revealed Denise strongly disliked Amanda, and favored Sarah. They have remained constant through the years, even when Amanda had nothing going on. Now, with Simon Cowell on her side and her fans still present, this may just be the break Amanda’s been waiting for.

I am an Amanda fan. I love her vocals and I love the fact that regardless of the issues she has faced because of a man she once loved, she continues to struggle on in the pursuit of a record deal that will bring her voice to the attention of the public. You go to church and you love Jesus honey you deserve fame you are a true Christian in every sense of the word and the Lord will reward you! Sarah gave me a headache but Amanda is nothing but a top notch performer looking for a chance. I hope you find fame and fortune and relief from heartaches of the past A. Tip: drop your last name, it doesn’t fit well with your first name and sounds like a name that has been stumbled out. You can’t be Amanda cos that is the moniker of a Swedish singer Amanda Lameche but try something with a better zing. WE LOVE YOU!

Amanda has an ok voice it ant nothing great even with Simon on her side she wont go far because she ain’t any good but on the other side Sarah Martin has an amazing voice and will go far I never got how people with no talented go far when a lot with talented don’t
