Speed Bump In Geri Halliwell’s Comeback

The Mirror reports that Innocent Records are said to be unhappy with ’s third solo album and have ordered the former Spice Girl back in the studio to come up with new material. “The plan was that Geri would release a single this month and put the album out in March,” a source revealed. “But they dropped off the release schedules. She’s been working on her second solo comeback for more than three years now. It was scheduled for release last summer, there’s no point her touring with just one single out.”

Halliwell Changes Management, Postpones Tour

February 13, 2005 - A posting on Geri Halliwell’s official site reports that the former Spice Girl has parted company with her management this week and taken on new representation. Currently in the midst of finishing her forthcoming album, her new team have advised her to postpone her May UK tour and she has taken their advice. Her record company, Innocent, are excited about the new album and looking forward to being able to promote the album properly before Geri embarks on the tour. Marshall Arts, the tour promoter, will announce the rescheduled dates shortly.
