Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell will join Christian artists for the Freedom Live concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 25th. Littrell has just signed a solo deal with Reunion Records, home to Michael W. Smith, a close friend of Littrell’s. His album is scheduled for release to Christian and general market retail in the fall of 2005, with a radio single slated for Spring, 2005. Littrell’s version of “In Christ Alone” will be made available through the WOW #1s album, releasing to retail through Provident-Integrity Distribution, April 5. The Tennessean reports that Brian Littrell has signed with Reunion Records/Provident Music Group. Brian will do a song for the next ‘WOW!’ Christian compilation CD, coming out early next year, and that song will be sent to Christian radio. After that, Littrell will return his focus to the Backstreet Boys before releasing his Christian album in the fall of ’05.

Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell was on PBS station KET on Friday (April 16) for a collection of public service announcements and celebrity interviews designed to educate Kentucky teens about the dangers of drinking and encourage participation in drug and alcohol free proms and graduation celebrations. Celebrities interviewed include Brian Littrell, Ashley Judd, and Tim Couch. His wife Leighanne and their son Baylee were with Brian on the ‘Praise the Lord’ show.
People magazine caught up with Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell at Point de Vue salon’s ‘Oscar Oasis’ cocktail reception in West Hollywood, who talked about the band’s new album, which they hope to release this summer. “The break was good for everyone, because you get to be your own person,” he said. “We’re all grown men now.” The singer said he’ll be bringing along wife, Leighanne, and 15-month-old son Baylee when the band kicks off a yearlong world tour in August. “We want him to experience what Daddy does,” Littrell explained.
On February 19th, Backstreet Boys Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell were inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. During his acceptance speech, Kevin said, “When I was growing up I lived in a small, remote part of Kentucky. I thought, I can’t get out there, I won’t see that place or that place.
