Lily Allen & Sister To Open Designer Clothing Store, Will Be Documented For TV Show

Lily Allen has signed on to have her move to be a a shopkeeper for a designer clothing store with her sister documented. The shop will be called Lucy in Disguise, and the show will also follow the pop star as she readies her own record label. “Lily was approached about the TV show and thought it would help promote her new ventures as well as letting people get to know her a bit better,” a source told The Sun.

Lily also hinted at “retirement” in postings to her Twitter followers (@lilyroseallen) on Monday:

Now that I’ve retired in gonna try and get on “come dine with me” I’m making chicken tarragon and leek pie tonight. Yum .

Lily Allen Attends Vintage At Goodwood Festival

Lily Allen posed for vintage-inspired photos as part of the launch for the “Vintage at Goodwood” festival on Thursday (February 25) in Goodwood, England. The pop singer used the opportunity to unveil her new clothing label, Lucy in Disguise. “I’m having a career change for a while. Lily Allen Taking A Year Or Two Off From Singing

British singer Lily Allen is giving up music for a year or two to focus on other projects, telling BBC Newsbeat she’s turning her attentions to launching “a record label and running a rental clothes store.”

Allen said the label she’s planning to launch will focus on new acts. “I’m going to get into signing new bands, but at a really early level,” Allen explained. “I don’t want to compete with other record companies, but I want to support new artists.”
