Liz McClarnon Busy ‘Recording Some Great New Songs’

Hey girls and boys.. I hope you are all well. Sorry I haven’t left you all a message for a while, I’ve been a very busy bee! I’ve been in the studio lots recording some great new songs. One song I am particularly excited about. It’s called “Not In Love”, and you should be able to hear it in the Lil’s World section of my official website (http://www.lizmcclarnon.com) sometime this week, so make sure you sign up to that and keep checking back to hear it. Fingers crossed I will be performing it at the weekend in Cardiff too, at the 2 shows for Cardiff Pride. It will be the first time I’ve performed it so I will be excited but nervous to hear your response. Hope you all love it as much as I do.

Liz McClarnon Crowned Celebrity Masterchef Champion 2008

Liz McClarnon checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace (@lizmcclarnon) on Saturday (July 26), after being crowned the Celebrity Masterchef Champion 2008. “Oh my god what a crazy times it’s been with Celebrity Masterchef,” Liz writes. “I’m so over the moon to be crowned Masterchef Champion and can’t thank you all enough for all your support. It really does mean a lot to me, and you’re messages and comments have been so lovely. I had to keep that ALL to myself too! Not easy for me!! I’ve had a lovely time though.”

The former Atomic Kitten also spoke about new material she’s been working on. “As you know I’ve been in the studio for the past 3 months,” she added. “Yesterday I got a certain song back that I really, really would love to be the single… I love it a lot… hopefully you’ll all get to hear it soon. A small snippet of another of my new songs ‘Dig It’ is up on all my websites, make sure you check that out and let me know what you think. Your feedback is so important to me.”

Liz McClarnon Really Excited About New Material

Liz McClarnon checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace (@lizmcclarnon) on Monday (July 21), hinting at new music coming soon. “I was in the studio all last week working with a writer who writes for Booty Luv,” the former Atomic Kitten member writes. “Some of his stuff is phenomenal, and I’m really, really excited about it, and can’t wait for you to hear it!”

As for Liz’s charitable endeavors, she writes, “So Saturday was the big day.. Jaime and I ran the Race For Life in Regents Park!! We were both a little nervous before the start of the race, but both really, really enjoyed it once we got going. We both dressed up very girlie in pink, with fairy wings, and we were team ‘best friends’! Thank you so, so much to everyone who sponsored us it really means a lot to us both, as it’s for such a worthwhile cause.”

Liz McClarnon Participating In BBC1 Reality Show ‘Celebrity Masterchef’

Former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon’s people checked in with her MySpace friends on Tuesday (June 24) with the following bulletin:

Next week sees Liz McClarnon swapping her microphone for a chopping board and pots and pans as she joins a host of celebrities for this years’ Celebrity Masterchef.

The show starts next Wednesday 2nd July at 8pm on BBC1, and will be shown Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.

Make sure you tune in and watch Liz battle it out against the likes of Clare Richards, Chris Parker and Andi Peters, and see whether she really can boil an egg and roast a chicken!!

Liz McClarnon Finds Her Perfect Man

After dating Swansea City star Lee Trundle for just two months, former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon tells The Sun she thinks she’s found Mr. Right. “He’s so lovely and we’re getting on really well,” the singer gushed. “Lee’s as close to my perfect man as he can get. He might be the one! I’m spending a lot of my time down in Swansea at the moment but I don’t think I’m ready to join the WAGs.”

Former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon revealed the findings of Youth Music’s research demonstrating the positive impact music has on the personal and social development of 0-5 year olds at the LSO St Lukes, Old Street on Wednesday (March 1) in London, England. The 3 year research study Turning Their Ears On demonstrates the impact of music-making on 750 children who attended Sure Start nurseries, highlighting the positive effects on their numeracy and literacy skills.
