Dannii Minogue Absolutely Loves Breastfeeding

Dannii Minogue at Harvey Nichols

Dannii Minogue tells The Guardian she’s a big fan of breastfeeding after giving birth to her first child Ethan. “I love it. I absolutely love it,” Dannii told Jess Cartner-Morley. “It’s the weirdest thing, because before I had the baby, when women talked about breastfeeding, I’d be a bit like, whatever, what’s the big deal? Do it or don’t, right? But then you have the baby and every cell in your body is crying out to feed this baby. It’s an incredible thing. I don’t want to stop. It’s a bit disruptive for everybody because you have to allow time to feed him in my schedule. And it means he has to be down at the television studio all day Saturday and all day Sunday, because that’s where I am.”

Music Inspires VV Brown’s Fashion

VV Brown did a Q&A with Miami New Times, where the British alternative pop singer talked about whether fashion choices inspired her musical choices or the other way around. “I think my music inspires my fashion,” the British artist explained. “I don’t think fashion inspires my music. I just don’t think fashion is deep enough to inspire my music. I think music is inspired by life and reality and love. And then I think my music pours in to what I wanna wear. I don’t think I’d be able to get inspired by fashion enough. It’s too superficial to just… you never know, you could write about a… ‘You know this jacket is amazing,’ no. Too blah for me.” Read more.

VV Brown Wants To Push The Boundaries With Fashion & Music

VV Brown

Clayton Perry of Blogcritics.org caught up with VV Brown for a Q&A, asking the British artist about how she’d describe her fashion sense amongst other topics. Brown responded:

I just want to be creative and push the boundaries. That’s why I love Grace Jones and David Bowie and all these kind of artists that just brought fashion and music together. For them, it was just all one, big party of expression. And so, this is what I want to do with my shows. My budget doesn’t allow me to do exactly what I want to do; but God willing, as soon as things become more successful, you’re going to start to see some real crazy sh**!

Why VV Brown Wears Masks

VV Brown

SF Station caught up with VV Brown for a Q&A, asking the British singer about how she wanted to be a corporate lawyer, her quantum physics obsession, and why she wears masks. VV said of the latter topic:

I wear masks because they’re sexy and you’re not quite sure what is behind them. Even though you know it’s me coming on stage, there’s a natural mystery. It’s so beautiful — the feathers, the glitter, and the fact you can see my eyes but nothing else. I think it’s a great form of showmanship and I always want my live performances to slowly evolve into a show. I don’t just want to be a live musician with a band behind me.
