Vanessa Hudgens At ‘Bandslam’ Premiere In Westwood

The Dish Rag was on hand for the ‘Bandslam’ premiere at Mann Village Theatre in Westwood on Thursday (August 6), talking with stars and Gaelan Connell about how high school movies seem to appeal to all ages and the influences of the late John Hughes on their movie. Baby V also discussed her upcoming films ‘Beastly’ and ‘Sucker Punch’ - though she wasn’t asked abot the new batch of personal pictures that have found their way online.

“We had a great time. There was a lot of Rock Band involved,” Hudgens said about making the film. As for the appeal high school movies have to all ages, she said, “I think it’s such a relatable thing. Everybody’s been through high school and I think it’s the time in your life that defines you, so it’s fun to look back on.”
