Will Laryngitis Spoil Lauren Alaina’s ‘Idol’ Finale Hopes?

This week’s season finale of ‘American Idol’ appears to be getting thrown into turmoil after Lauren Alaina came down with laryngitis. Haley Reinhart, who was eliminated last week, may have to replace Lauren against Scotty McCreery to compete for the ‘Idol’ crown. TMZ reports Lauren was ordered not to speak or sing by the doctor on the set this afternoon after she was unable to complete her three songs during rehearsal.
