Celebrities are reacting to Kris Allen’s victory over Adam Lambert on tonight’s ‘American Idol’ via Twitter, some of whom spoiled it for west coast viewers. Among the reactions:

May 19, 2009 - ‘American Idol’ finalist Adam Lambert was spotted preparing for this week’s finale by looking for some new outfits at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills. Lambert wouldn’t give away any secrets about what to expect on tonight’s show, and when asked to comment on the Miss California controversy regarding the gay marriage debate, Adam said he had no idea what the Finalpixx videographer was talking about because he’s been in the ‘Idol’ bubble. No Welcome Mat For Clay Aiken On ‘American Idol’ Set

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Clay Aiken is reaching out to ‘American Idol’ finalist Adam Lambert to be a part of his upcoming duets album. When the ‘Idol’ season two runner-up showed up in Hollywood, the FOX show wasn’t putting up the welcome sign. “Everyone knows - and certainly Clay knows - he’s persona non grata around here,” a source told Bill Zwecker.

The chilly reception Aiken received is due to his exit from 19 Entertainment, making him the first ‘Idol’ to dump the management company. The staff insider added that Aiken was able to convince Kelly Clarkson to exit 19 as well.

Clay Aiken’s Rep Says Failed Negotiations Led To RCA Split

February 20, 2009 - Clay’s rep Cyndi Berger spoke with People magazine following news that the ‘American Idol’ season two runner-up parted ways with RCA Records. “We were unable to come to terms in a recent contract negotiation, and decided that it was best to move on,” Berger said Friday. The decision comes following disappointing sales of Aiken’s 2008 album ‘On My Way Here’, which sold only 159,000 copies in the U.S.

Clay Aiken To Appear On ‘America’s Next Top Model’

Yes it’s true, Clay Aiken will be appearing in the upcoming season of ‘America’s Next Top Model’. He will participate in an acting challenge with the ladies and serve as a guest judge on the panel. The April 8 episode featuring Clay will air on the CW as part of the series’ 12th cycle that kicks off Feb. 25. Check your local listings and make sure to tune in!

Does Kara DioGuardi Shave Her Nose?

Kara DioGuardi visited ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ the other night, talking with the host about People magazine misquoting her “shade my nose” comment with “shave my nose”, writing songs for Paris Hilton and her role as the fourth judge on ‘American Idol’. As for what she things about Simon Cowell, Kara said, “He’s actually a great guy. He’s very charming. His form of honesty may not be for everybody.”

So will she be back on the show next season? “I’ve had an incredible time. I hope so,” DioGuardi responded. “The nature of these things, you really don’t know. I would hope that I brought something to it.” The interview at YouTube has since been removed.

Kara DioGuardi: Hopefully They’ll Keep Me On ‘American Idol’

May 1, 2009 - Kara DioGuardi tells TV Guide she doesn’t know if she’ll be back next season on ‘American Idol’. “I’m only here for one season,” DioGuardi said while at the Phoenix House’s 6th Annual Triumph for Teens Gala. “That’s what we’ve discussed. So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully, they’ll keep me on.”

Simon Cowell meanwhile wasn’t exactly offering a ringing endorsement for Kara’s return. “I would imagine so, but the only say I have is about Ryan, Randy and Paula,” he said. “I’ve always made it clear that I wouldn’t like to do the show without them. So that’s all I’m really concerned about.”

Matt Giraud’s Lucky Runs Out On ‘American Idol’

May 1, 2009 - Matt Giraud’s luck ran out Wednesday night on ‘American Idol’, having been in the bottom three several times and saved once by the show’s judges. Matt was joined in the bottom three by Kris Allen and Adam Lambert on the big band week results show, while Danny Gokey and Allison Iraheta were the top two. Before Matt got the boot, Paula Abdul told the five finalists: “I wish you could all stay together like the Rat Pack.”

Matt Giraud Addresses Justin Timberlake Comparisons

The latest ‘American Idol’ finalist to get the boot, Matt Giraud, answered a question from a MySpace fan, asking the singer if he’s been compared to Justin Timberlake before ‘Idol’.

“I was compared,” Matt said. “So when I came on the show I wanted to stay away from that as much as possible… I wanted to focus on trying to be me, so I got on the piano and did some ballads, and then towards the end, I was like ‘Maybe I should start dancing.'”

April 29, 2009 - Ousted ‘American Idol’ finalist Anoop Desai talked with TV Guide’s ‘After Idol’ about the artists he wants to team up with, what he said to Allison Iraheta before being voted off, and not having plans to go back to grad school until he makes an effort to get a record deal and make an album. “I see myself in that pop/R&B genre, and I think I have the type of voice to be successful in that genre,” Desai said. “I’m looking forward to that. The visually impaired singer, who did surprisingly well at naming celebrities based on a photo he couldn’t see, was later joined by a fellow ousted ‘American Idol’ finalist, Megan Joy, who was the mystery celebrity during the game. Anoop Desai Had “Special Bond” With Murdered UNC-CH Student Eve Carson

The National Enquirer reports ‘American Idol’ finalist Anoop Desai was especially close to fellow University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student Eve Carson, prompting him to give a public mention of the 22-year-old, who was brutally gunned down in March 2008. “Those two had a special bond,” a friend of Anoop told the tabloid. “They were always together on campus. March 20, 2009 - Alexis Grace didn’t get enough votes to stick around for another week on ‘American Idol’. She made it to the final eleven, one short of a chance to go on the Idols Live tour. Grace talked about her experiences on the show with ‘Good Day LA’ co-hosts Steve, Dorothy, and Jillian. Alexis said she only got a couple hours of sleep since she was packing and she said she and Meghan Joy were close since they both had children. Terri Seymour was backstage with the judges after ‘American Idol’ Wednesday night and dropped by ‘Good Day LA’ the next morning with her report.
