March 29, 2003 - The Mirror reports Liberty X revealed that many of their fans had been assaulted during mobile phone thefts, and as a result, the group decided to become the faces of Immobilize Phone Crime - an initiative which aims to curb the amount of mobiles stolen. Jessica Taylor told the paper, “If you call 08701 123123, your phone gets cut off straightaway. Some kids get their phones nicked as a form of bullying and we’re getting the message across that it’s a crime and they can do something about it.” She added, “I’ve lost so many phones. March 26, 2003 - Liberty X have told Radio 1 how they’re getting a bit of unwanted attention from underaged girls flashing them at their gigs. “We don’t have a problem with it, as long as they’re over a certain age. Someone at the hotel Blue, Liberty, and others on the Smash Hits tour set off the hotel’s fire alarm Wednesday night. The boys in Blue were partying in the bar and one rushed to help Jessica from Liberty as she revealed, “Simon gave me a piggy back down the stairs from the seventh floor, which was very sweet of him because I didn’t have any shoes.
