Peaches Geldof, dead at 25, and her dog Parpy

Several pop singers shared their thoughts on the death of Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof. The 25-year-old model and socialite was found dead Monday at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast of London. Kent Police say it is being treated “as a non-suspicious, unexplained sudden death”, while are still waiting for toxicology reports. Among the messages on Twitter about the sad news:

Lily Allen is out with the music video to her new single ‘Hard Out Here’, the first solo recording in three years for the British pop singer. The track is available at all digital retailers on November 19th. Kurstin produced ‘Hard Out Here’ was written by Lily with long-time collaborator Greg Kurstin. Allen is currently working on her third studio album, which will be released next year. Watch it via YouTube below.

Lucy Verasamy Responds To Lily Allen’s Visible Nipples On TV Tweet

Lily Allen’s observation this morning watching ‘Daybreak’ on ITV prompted the weather reporter on the program to respond to her Twitter message. The British pop singer said she could see Lucy Verasamy’s nipples through her outfit, which got a response from Lucy, who blamed it on the seems on her top, not a chill in the studio. Lily told her followers (@MrsLRCooper):

I can see nipples on the Daybreak weather girl.

I’ve never watched Daybreak before, it’s weird.

People on ITV seem more orange and medicated than people on the BBC.

Cheryl Cole got some understandable support from Julie Burchill in The Sun on Monday after ‘The X Factor’ sacking, but a rival of the Girls Aloud star took a broadside in the column and wasn’t happy about it. “I adore the way she spat back at that overprivileged crybaby Lily Allen when the public-school tool took a poke at her way back in the day,” Julie said about the ‘Smile’ singer who feuded with Cheryl in 2007. Lily Allen revealed on her Channel 4 show ‘Lily Allen: From Riches To Rags’ that losing her baby boy when six months pregnant led to a viral infection which almost took her own life. “It was really quite touch and go for a few days,” the 25-year-old said. “My friends reacted so much more to me being ill compared to what I felt was the most devastating part of it, I couldn’t have cared less about myself. I literally was on my death bed but I didn’t even feel it.”

Lily Allen’s publicist has released a statement after the singer was diagnosed septicaemia, which is the presence of pathogenic organisms in the bloodstream, leading to sepsis. A spokesperson for Lily Allen revealed Monday the sad news that the singer, who was six months pregnant, has lost a second baby.
