Norwegian Pop Artists Devastated After Oslo Bombing & Utoya Island Rampage

Several Norwegian pop artists are commenting on the horrific events that occurred in the country on Friday, where a gunman went on a two-hour rampage on Utoya Island that left at least 80 people dead, which followed a mid-afternoon bombing in Oslo. Among the messages left on Twitter:

Former M2M star Marit Larsen performed her new single ‘If A Song could Get Me You’ live at Radio PSR in Germany. The Norwegian singer songwriter also discussed her German skills, getting to #1 in the German charts, the process of her songwriting being a big secret, and taught some Norwegian words for the to use.

Marit Larsen Goes Swimming In Luxembourg

Marit Larsen checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace (@maritlarsen) on Saturday (March 28) from the latest stop on her tour with Jason Mraz - Luxembourg. The former M2M singer writes:

Yesterday we decided to brave the rough Luxembourg weather (it wouldn’t stop raining!) and walk to a public indoor pool. We all swam for a long while, listening to continuous mentions of Jason’s name on the radio, and afterwards we spent time in the boiling sauna. I felt like a new human being. My body is starting to tell me it’s not loving sleeping on the bus as much as I am. Hehe.
