Tegan and Sara are confirmed as direct support for the third leg of Katy Perry’s North American tour, which kicks off September 9th in Vancouver, ending a month later in New Orleans on October 8th. In addition, the sisters will be a big part of Amnesty International’s Bringing Human Rights Home benefit concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on February 5th with The Flaming Lips, Imagine Dragons, Lauryn Hill, Tegan and Sara, The Fray and more. In March, they’ll be cruising as part of Parahoy. The girls are also confirmed for Big Guava Music Festival in Tampa, Florida, Hangout Music Fest, Suburbia Music Festival, and Firefly Festival in Dover, Delaware this summer.

A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera are out with the music video to their new single ‘Say Something’, off Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino’s debut album ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’, out January 21st on Epic Records/Black Magnetic.
Talking about her participation on the song, Aguilera told Idolator, “It’s so quiet and still and steady and in a way pleading. I’m only taking on projects that feel good to me and represent, as always, a purpose of the here and now in my life.”

One Direction are out with behind the scenes footage from the making of their ‘Story of My Life’ music video, where over 6,000 photos of group members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson growing up were assembled into a tapestry at the Ben Winston directed shoot.
“The fans know so much about the boys, that in a way we’re sort of revealing that a little bit more,” Winston explained. “We’re showing quite intimate moments that people haven’t seen before, recreating some photos that the boys had from when they were kids… To see how people change over a generation, whatever happens to you, however successful you’ve become, you’re still from the same place, and I think in a way that is a story of their life.”
“It’s quite nice looking at everyone else’s pictures actually when everyone else was a little kid,” Liam said. “We’re all doing the same thing and now we’re still together doing the same thing, so technically we’ve lived our lives in sync.”
