But coming from someone who doesn’t like either I will be honest and tell everyone the TRUE sales behind each girl. This is for the U.S. and reflects the sales from Billboard/Soundscan and the CD Club you often see in magazines.

Yes, sales are down and people has been affected, including Britney. She has managed to sell so much in so little though, compared to others. People say her album flopped because of sales, but most artists out there are not selling more than 3 millions copies, so what are you people talking about?
Personally, I prefer quality over quantity and don’t think sales are everything (they matter, but aren’t above all). I do think however that the numbers are partially due to Britney having 4 studio Albums while Christina has had two…specialty albums like the Spanish one and Christmas one did well for their genre…but aren’t going to be widely purchased like a regular album would be.
Typical Britney fan. Living in the past. You’re only as good as your last album, and Britney’s one has been vastly outsold by Christina’s one. no one cares about the Spice girls anymore, just like no one cares about any of Britney’s old albums. and soon they wont care about her either
Well, Britney has sold much in America, and Christina has sold less.. Conclusion: Some Americans have no feeling for music and don’t know what good music is.. They’re acting like a bunch of sheep who are following the pack… Very sad…

Well Britney sold that in the pop days. Let’s see her sell that much now. I highly doubt it. It is a commercial flop considering Britney’s past sales. Christina has remained the same and she has more longevity than Britney can dream of. Let’s not forget talent too.
