Britney Spears Brushes Off Blue Singers
The Mirror reports Britney Spears gave Blue singers Duncan James and Simon Webbe the cold-shoulder at a party in her honor at Rex Cinema in London on Saturday (October 25). The two boy band stars tried to get Spears’ bodyguards to let them in the VIP room to no avail. Meanwhile, Spears banned pin-up Jodie Marsh from the event and told the DJ not to play any Justin Timberlake or Beyonce Knowles tunes.
Blue On David Blaine
October 20, 2003 - As David Blaine emerged from his plexiglass box at the end of his 44-day starvation stunt, Blue stars Duncan James and Lee Ryan have been offering their insights into his ordeal to Radio 1. “I think it goes to show that if you put your mind to it you can achieve so much,” Duncan said, adding that “He must smell, ’cause he hasn’t had a bath or washed for 44 days.” Meanwhile, Lee thinks Blaine is “an alien!”
Blue Produce A ‘Winner’ With ‘Guilty’
October 20, 2003 - Victoria Newton of The Sun obtained a copy of Blue’s new album ‘Guilty’, calling it “stronger, more mature and edgier” than their two previous efforts. She adds that “any one of the 15 tracks could be a chart hit” and concluded, “Well done, lads - this one’s a winner.” Read more.
Management Tell Blue To Shape Up
October 11, 2003 - The Glasgow Daily Record reports Blue have been ordered on a crash fitness course by their management because they are out of shape. “When you go into TV stations, you get a request list of what you want in the dressing rooms,” Duncan James explained. “We always ask for a kettle to make honey and lemon tea to help our throats and voices. We normally get crisps and chocolate too, but we are only being allowed fresh fruit.” Bandmate Lee Ryan added, “We’ve got a strict regime. We’ve got a month to go, but I’ve done nothing. I’m eating healthily though.”
Blue To Collaborate With Stevie Wonder
September 29, 2003 - Contributed by bluejanet:
UK boyband Blue are flying out to LA this week to collaborate on a track with legend Stevie Wonder. Blue, who plan to cover Wonder’s ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ want Stevie to appear on the track himself. The song, which currently features vocals from Angie Stone will be on the boys upcoming album ‘Guilty’ to be released in November. The group made a similar move in recording Elton John’s classic ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ which went to number one last year.
That was rude. it’s not like Justin played her videos on a giant screen at his concerts during intermission. But why Beyonce.. I guess I’m not the only one annoyed by her. lol! just kidding!
Ya Right! Kinda like the time Christina had waiters burn a Tara Reid picture? These things are so full of sh**. Even, if it were true who the f**k are these kids? I wouldn’t let them near me either!
Aww what’s wrong bimbo Britney are you mad cause Justin has moved on and his music is better then yours? and she must be mad cause Beyonce is number1 with baby boy and her garbage new single is barely making it up the charts and by the way Beyonce is way hotter then Britney sorry but it’s the truth.
What a demanding whore. As if she’s big there. Sorry Britney, even the ex spice girls are more famous than you. LMAO at the Justin and Beyonce thing. So I guess Beyonce is a threat? Insecure, talentless idiot
Why is my girl Christina even on your jealous ass mind this has nothing to do with her this article is about how Britney lip-syncing ass is jealous of Beyonce. And how she’s mad at Justin for moving on and not giving a damn about her anymore.
^I thought I already has this conversation with you. I’m a fan of both, so I have no reason to be jealous. If I said something to offend the fans of either one, its only because I’m speaking the truth! You’re over here saying Brit is jealous because Beyonce has the #1 single and MATM is still climbing the charts. So I simply said ‘Dirrty’ didn’t climb the charts. So why are you quick to make fun of MATM, but not ‘Dirrty.’ Do you think ‘Baby Boy’ debuted at #1? No, and neither did MATM. They both climbed the charts. Besides, ‘Baby Boy’ has been on the charts for 12 weeks. MATM has only been on it for 2.
I don’t give a damn who you are a fan of I love Christina and only Christina Britney has no talent to me in I don’t like her and never will like I said Christina had nothing to do with this topic her name isn’t anywhere on that article you just wanted to bring her up to defend why bimbo Britney is doing so poorly on the charts Dirrty was not a flop it was number1 everywhere except the u.s. but who cares Dirrty was a great song and video Britney new song sucks ass and like I said Britney is jealous of Beyonce why else would she not want her music played it sounds like jealousy to me.lol and did you really have to post that crap that many times we seen your first dumbass post.
This whole story smells of bullsh** to me…. Either way I say this as someone who doesn’t like Britney but why the hell should she let Blue or whatever into her VIP room. Nobody in the states has heard of them and they suck.
Honey, “Dirrty” was horrible. I shredded that single in my review of it for my college’s newspaper. BTW, “bimbo Britney” smashed Christina today on TRL. Britney hit number 1 after only 2 days on the countdown. Christina was knocked down, not to number 2, but all the way to number 3! Eat it baby!
And who gives a damn about your opinion, Stripped went platinum many times. And let’s face it Chrissy’s reviews are much better than Miss Spears. Why, because she can actually sing!!! And nobody gives a damn about your DeVry Institute college newspaper, whore!
Uhm….I don’t recall Xtina’s reviews being better than Britney’s. In fact, Brit’s second album got 3.5 stars from Rolling Stone (the most critical music magazine) and Stripped only for 3. Also “Britney” got 3 stars as well, so as you can see…not a big difference at all. If what you say is true…Britney can do just as well commercially and critically as Christina without even having a good voice. Kinda sad for Christina fans huh? I respect Xtina, but Britney’s music is way better. She’s sold more albums than X and has received as much critical acclaim as Xtina. Deal.
