Kimberley Locke Visits Z100, Explains Truth Behind Frenchie’s ‘Idol’ Ouster
‘American Idol’ season two finalist Kimberley Locke visited Z100 in New York City on Friday (March 30). She talked about the whole Antonella Barba and Frenchie Davis controversy, her new album, this season’s ‘American Idol’, her weight loss since she’s on the new season of ‘Celebrity Fit Club’, her close friendships with fellow ‘Idol’ season two alums Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken, and her new restaurant. Locke explained a key difference in the Antonella and Frenchie debate was that Frenchie’s photos included snaps of her pleasuring herself with a Coke bottle in pornographic images for which she was paid, an especially difficult situation given Coca Cola’s advertising status with the hit program. Locke added that Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warrick went directly to Frenchie and explained to her that while they wanted to allow her to stay on, it was out of their hands.
