Brendan James

Brendan James checked in with fans on his blog at MySpace (@brendanjames) on Monday (August 23), discussing the press he has been doing in New York City, where he resides, in support of his self-titled second album, out September 7th on Decca Records. The singer songwriter tells readers:

Press, press, press..
Just got back to the west coast after an action packed week in nyc. Met with the folks at People Magazine and US Weekly, had some great interviews with CNN.com! and the San Francisco Examiner..(That was by phone:)

Also got to perform live on Better TV and for the VEVO staff, which were both pretty low key and fun.
Then attended VH1’s Save the Music event at Bowlmor lanes. (Cool to hang a bit with the Plain White T’s after they performed for us all). Thanks to all the hardworking people at my label and beyond for these great opportunities.

Oh and forgot to mention the best moment of the week- holding a real copy of the new album in my hand after the first shipment arrived to Decca.
A labor of love completed.
