Jada Had A Blast At Chickenfest

Elle Wine of Jada checked in with fans on the Boston girl group’s blog at MySpace (@jada) on Monday (July 13), talking about the band’s Chickenfest performance in Darboy, Wisconsin last month. Wine writes:

Anywhooooo… I DO want to tell you guys about our trip to Wisconsin to perform with Brook Hogan and Tina Parol at Chicken Fest for 95.9 KissFM. So it all started when we landed in Appleton, WI in a quaint little airport and we were greeted by the one and only AND AMAZING Uitenbroek family! It was Cliff, Chris, and Jess at the airport with signs that said “Welcome to Wisconsin JADA”! Right off the bat they were so sweet to us and I immediately knew that we were in good hands.

…Then off to meet Dayton from 95.9 KissFM to do an interview under sunny skies. He was a blast and we wrapped it up just in time to beat the raindrops.

Finally, the show was great! We had a blast on stage and Tina and Brooke really rocked it. Loved Verona Grove too. It was a huge turnout and again everyone was truly so amazing to us and we couldn’t have asked for anything more from anyone! The fans in Darboy were phenomenal and I love every one of them who stuck around after the show to get our autographs…you guys were awesome! Love you!

O’Keefe writes:

Ok, on June 6th we performed at 96BHT’s Summer Jam 2009 in Wilkes-Barre PA! It was really fun! We got to perform with our own label mates Safety Suit! AND Taylor Momsen and Pretty Reckless, Lesley Roy, Love Sick Radio, Carney and The Veronicas! They all put on such a great show and we had a blast meeting and hanging out with them all. One such band stole our dressing room for a hot minute. We almost had to break out our ninja moves. Good thing for them they were cute!

While watching The Veronicas we saw Bam Magera in the crowd! He came to support the bands and hang out. It was a cool celeb sighting. All the fans were swarming him. I was surprised he made it out without any scratches lol.

Just wanted to let you all know that Jada is performing at Boston KISS 108’s KISS concert this year! We are super excited to be added to the amazing roster of artists! So far we are sharing the stage with Black Eyed Peas, Ciara, Flo Rida, Akon, Sean Kingston, All American Rejects, The Veronicas and more!! The show is May 17th at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. Tickets are sold out, but you might be able to win some through KISS 108! Just listen in. :) (Or check Craigslist!) We have been so busy recently getting ready for the show with show rehearsals and wardrobe styling! It might be hard to believe, but dressing four girls in a pop group can be challenging! lol We’re hoping to have our choreographer A-Ninja (Adrian Wiltshire) take us back into dance boot camp for a last minute brush up! Hollywood choreo-ninja better be there too! Those guys are the best.

Oh yeah! Just had to let you know how excited we were to sing at the Celtics game for Game 5 of the Playoffs! It was so great to sing the Anthem in front of such an enthusiastic crowd, especially with all the players on the court with us! They are so tall! lol

Jada Busy On Choreography For Live Shows

April Forrest of Jada checked in with fans on the Boston girl group’s blog at MySpace (@jada) on Thursday (April 30), talking about preparations for live shows coming up. Forrest writes:

We just spent a week working on choreography for our live shows. Keep a look out for updates on our summer concerts…. super psyched to be doing KISS Concert Boston on May 17!!!!! There’s a bunch of other great shows in the works too. Other radio station concerts so that’s cool that we get to re- visit many of the friends we made on our radio tour. :)

We got to work with choreographer Adrian from the Amount Boyz again- he also did the choreo for our video! We love him so much. He totally whipped us into shape- it was great. You guys are gonna love the dancing! His assistant Hollywood was amazing too. They were so fun to be around……probably because they are just as goofy as we are (haha) I miss them already. :( It’s all good though because we will definitely be seeing them again soon!
