Selena Gomez Talks About Ryan Gosling Crush, Plots Surprise Encounter

Selena Gomez is happy

Selena Gomez spoke with Johnjay and Rich on Friday (October 14), helping the morning DJs announce their 2011 ‘Phooson’ concert in December. During the interview, Selena revealed she has a little crush on Ryan Gosling, preferring him over fellow actor Ryan Reynolds. “I think Ryan Reynolds is really funny and very attractive, but for some reason I kinda go with Ryan [Gosling’s] quirky, kind of cool look,” Gomez explained. The teen added that despite her own fame and ability to meet just about anyone famous, she “doesn’t want to be that creepy person that’s like ‘Let me get my connections’ or something like that, I just kinda want it to be natural like if I go to a premiere and see him I think that would be way cooler to have that surprise factor as opposed to having it set up.” Download and listen to the interview here.

Simon Cowell Backstage With Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber At ‘The Tonight Show’

Bryan Branly of ‘The Tonight Show’ spoke with Simon Cowell after his chat with Jay Leno the other night. ‘The X Factor’ judge talked about the new show and the time he told his boss off. Simon says expect “tears, tantrums, talent, no talent” on the FOX show when it premieres Wednesday.

Selena Gomez came on later after performing her new single ‘Love You Like a Love Song’. The singer and actress gave Bryan’s big hair a feel saying she loves it. Then she pulled off her shoes and said “they’re pretty but they’re very, very painful.” Selena described ‘Love You Like a Love Song’, saying, “It’s really fun. It’s kind of repetitive. It doesn’t leave your mind in a good and bad way.”

The video ended with Simon greeting Selena and her boyfriend Justin Bieber. When Cowell said “Look after him,” Bieber responded by saying, “I’ll look after her.”

Selena Gomez Aggravated By Her Lack Of Privacy

Selena Gomez, currently starring in ‘Monte Carlo’, was on the phone with the syndicated radio morning show “Johnjay and Rich” on Tuesday (July 5) to play her new single and talk about the movie and her latest album ‘When the Sun Goes Down’. During the interview, the topic turned to the recent picture of Selena and boyfriend Justin Bieber where Justin is seen massaging Selena’s foot.

“That was someone who took a picture and it got online somehow,” Gomez said. “It’s very aggravating. Not just about that, but about pictures in general. I mean I can be out to eat and now everyone has camera phones and everything and people are taking pictures of you when you’re eating and it’s just like you always have to be aware, and it’s very annoying because you have to look around and be paranoid in a way and I don’t want to live my life like that.”

As for how she addresses rumors - or not - Selena said, “A rumor is a rumor and it will be gone in a week and it won’t even matter. It makes it worse if you sit there and acknowledge it and dwell on it. Then it becomes a topic of discussion and it’s just really annoying.”

Pink on a motorcycle

Pink checked in with her Twitter followers (@Pink) on Thursday (May 19), sounding off after seeing a music video being shot featuring horses painted pink, angering the PETA activist. The video ended up being for Selena Gomez’s song ‘Love You Like A Love Song’, meaning fans of the Disney star directed some return fire at the 31-year-old. Pink writes:

If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame

Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.

Oh lord, THAT’S whose video it was? Disney fans unite. Here we go. RT @PinkFans_ NEWS: @SelenaGomez fans are angry with @Pink.

Whether you are a fan of mine or whomever’s, I won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty. I’ve taken responsibility in the past, so should she.

Selena’s people have since responded to the controversy, saying that the pink substance was “non toxic, vegetable based powder paint.”
