Brian McFadden spoke with the Daily Telegraph about his ex-girlfriend stepping out on a date recently with Nick Jonas, and how he’s handling the situation. “If she’s happy I’m happy. I’m a straight shooter. If I didn’t like it I would have said something or cracked it on Twitter. I didn’t mind,” the former Westlife member said. “She told me about it beforehand, whatever makes her happy. But there’s a warning from me, if anyone hurts her they’re dead.”
Delta Goodrem was spotted departing the Hollywood Bowl with Perez Hilton the other night, walking down Highland Avenue and being asked questions from the paparazzi. The pair had just attended Kylie Minogue’s concert, and talked about the show, while Delta brushed off references to her rumored Jonas Brothers boyfriend Nick Jonas. Delta Goodrem is on the rebound after splitting up with longtime boyfriend Brian McFadden, and now the Australian pop star is catching heat from fans of Nick Jonas, the new younger man in her life. A source tells E! News the couple have been dating since March. Many are sending the 26-year-old messages on Twitter referencing the age gap, since the Jonas Brothers star is 18. As has been the case with a string of other women dating male teen idols, the nasty Tweets sent by the jealous girls include death threats to the cancer survivor. Among them:

Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden released a statement via their publicist announcing that the pair have ended their 6 1/2 year relationship:
Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden regretfully announce that they are no longer engaged, and after much consideration, have mutually decided to end their relationship.
This decision has been made with a lot of soul searching from both parties with the realization that they have grown apart. They leave the partnership with respect for one and other, wishing each other success and happiness for the future.
Delta and Brian appreciate there will be interest regarding this announcement but request that their time together is respected and they are given privacy during this time of transition.
The former Westlife star told his Twitter followers (@brianmcfadden) in reaction to the news:
I love Delta and always will. She is one of God’s living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time.
Kerry Katona is speaking out about her ex-husband Brian McFadden leaving her for Australian singer Delta Goodrem, and how the former Westlife member barely communicates with their two daughters Molly, 8, and Lilly-Sue, 7. “I remember thanking God I’d dressed up because this vision with a perfect figure, white shiny teeth, and a beautiful complexion was next to him. She was about a foot taller than me and I felt like a piece of rubbish,” Kerry said of her first meeting with Brian and Delta. “I was so nervous all I said was: ‘Hiya Love, are you all right?’ This to the woman who had taken my husband.”
Kerry added, “He phones the girls about five times a year - but Lilly doesn’t really know who he is. I’ve never told them what really happened. Brian has a new life in Australia now. I’m not bitter. I’m just sad for him. He’s missing out on two amazing little girls.”

Brian McFadden tells Coast Confidential that he and girlfriend Delta Goodrem’s relationship is still going strong even though they’re both busy apart with their respective careers. “We’re used to it (being apart),” he explained. “If we had two weeks off and we were sitting at home doing nothing that’s when it’d be harder. Even if we were in the same place we wouldn’t see each other much because we work so hard anyway.” McFadden was in Queensland to film Saturday’s Brisbane auditions for ‘Australia’s Got Talent’, where he’s a judge along with Dannii Minogue and Kyle Sandilands.

The official trailer for Delta Goodrem’s ‘Believe Again’ Australian Tour Live DVD has been posted at the singer’s YouTube channel ahead of its September 18th release. “Music should be escapism,” Delta says in the video. “That’s fantasy when people should watch and go, ‘Ohh, it looks so easy up there.'” She adds, “It was a beautiful, beautiful experience, this tour.
