A CBS rep tells UsMagazine.com that Hilary Duff has signed on to guest star in the Jennifer Love Hewitt starring ‘Ghost Whisperer’. Duff begins shooting the episode ‘Thrilled to Death’ on Friday, where the 21-year-old will play a beautiful woman of mystery who may be involved in the death of a man who fell victim to a freak accident.
Hilary Duff’s Virginity Status Is Nobody’s Business
Hilary Duff is on the cover of Maxim magazine’s January issue, where the singer and actress was asked about a quote she supposedly gave in 2006 that she was a virgin. “You know what? I was quoted saying I was a virgin, but I absolutely did not say that,” the 21-year-old said. “That’s nobody’s business but my own. Somehow it turned into a bad thing!”
Duff also complained about another gossip item. “I’ve been accused by the press of giving lap dances at clubs,” she says. “I mean, little ol’ me? It’s shocking. People love to believe it —- it’s way more exciting to talk about than the truth! And they’re so descriptive about these lap dances. I don’t even know how to do a lap dance!”

Hilary Duff Looks To Do Something Funny Or To Kick Ass On NBC
Tim Kash spoke with Hilary Duff backstage on MTV’s ‘Total Finale Live’ on Sunday, asking the 21-year-old about her new development deal with NBC and what kind of project she’s looking at doing.
“I would like to do something funny … or I would like to kick ass or something,” Duff explained. “[I’d want to] be some kind of — not a superhero, but some young person that’s empowering and that does something no one expects from her, like take care of problems.”

Hilary Duff Set To Star In Her Own NBC Series
Hilary Duff is returning to the small screen after the singer/actress signed an exclusive, one-year talent and development contract with NBC to star in her own series as well as guest-star in current NBC shows. “Hilary is an incredibly versatile talent with a huge following whose career we know will continue to soar on NBC,” said Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment. “We are confident we will develop great ideas that would feature her vast talents and are thrilled to have this opportunity.” It doesn’t mean an end to her film career though, with Duff appearing in the upcoming films ‘Safety Glass’, ‘Stay Cool’ and ‘Greta’.
Hilary Duff Exits Hollywood Records, Plans To Self-Release Next Album
Fashion Rules! caught up with Hilary Duff in a Q&A, where the singer, actress and fashion designer talked about the future of her Stuff by Hilary Duff line and her status with Hollywood Records. “I want to make my next record on my own and release it myself – it’s the new way of doing music,” Duff said, confirming she’s leaving the Disney owned label. “I want to do it in my own time and go with my own direction – same as with the clothes. I want to see where it all takes me. I’ve been working so hard for a long time – and I just turned 21 – so it’s time to do it my way!!!”

Hilary Duff Promotes Blessings In A Backpack In Indiana
Hilary Duff was in Fort Wayne, Indiana last week, visiting South Wayne Elementary to promote the Blessings in a Backpack program, which has produced over 6 million meals donated to those less fortunate.
“We’re feeding kids, and giving them the fuel that they need to be able to learn and grow and they’re our future,” the singer/actress tells WANE TV Channel 15.
As for the location, Duff said, “Fort Wayne because there’s kids in need here that need it, and why not? We want to try and conquer all of America and have no hungry kids.”
As for the program’s success, she said, “The principals are involved and send us e-mails with statistics of the almost every kid showing up on Monday.”

Hilary Duff Discourages The Phrase ‘That’s So Gay’ In New PSA
Hilary Duff is participating with the Ad Council and the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network to encourage people, specially teenagers, to stop using the phrase “That’s So Gay.”
In the spot, Hilary observes a pair of teen girls shopping for clothes, with one calling a top “so gay.” Duff tells the girls the phrase is insulting and is heard at the end of the ad telling viewers, “When you say ‘that’s so gay,’ do you realize what you say? Knock it off.”
