Peaches Geldof, dead at 25, and her dog Parpy

Several pop singers shared their thoughts on the death of Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof. The 25-year-old model and socialite was found dead Monday at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast of London. Kent Police say it is being treated “as a non-suspicious, unexplained sudden death”, while are still waiting for toxicology reports. Among the messages on Twitter about the sad news:

Several pop artists are offering their condolences following the shocking news that actor Paul Walker died Saturday in a car crash after attending a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort. Lindsay Lohan Out Of Jail After Posting Bail

TMZ reports Lindsay Lohan posted $300,000 bail and has left the Lynwood Correctional Facility. The 24-year-old was ordered behind bars by Judge Elden Fox without bail, but the move was reversed by Judge Patricia Schnegg, who presided over Chris Brown’s assault case. LiLo will have to again wear the SCRAM bracelet and must submit to search by law enforcement at any time.

August 30, 2010 - Paris will be charged with possession of a controlled substance - and could face up to 4 years in prison - but according to the heiress, the cocaine in her purse wasn’t hers, but probably belonged to a girlfriend who had borrowed the bag previously. TMZ discussed the news and how the heiress has been pushing responsibility for her recent drug busts on others. The video report from TMZ at MySpace has since been removed.

August 29, 2010 - Paris was arrested on Friday night in Las Vegas with her boyfriend and Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits, who manages a club inside the Wynn Las Vegas. The couple were in a black SUV that a police officer stopped nearby at 11:22 p.m. Friday. The officer “followed the vapor trail and the odor of marijuana to the Escalade,” police Sgt. John Sheahan said. When the heiress asked to go inside the Wynn for privacy, she pulled a tube of lip balm from her purse and a plastic bag with cocaine dropped out in the process, prompting cops to arrest the 29-year-old for cocaine possession.
