Colbie Caillat checked in with her MySpace friends ealier today with the following bulletin:
The 2008 Olympic Games are just around the corner, and I’ve had the unique opportunity to help support the U.S. Olympic Team.
A few weeks ago, I recorded an exclusive song titled “Somethin’ Special” for the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack. My goal was to create a song to inspire and support the U.S. Olympic Team athletes (and of course my fans) as they compete in one of the biggest competitions of their lives. Several other artists have also come together to record exclusive songs for the Soundtrack.
The great thing about the project is that the proceeds from downloads, ringtones and Answer Tones will go directly to support Team USA.
You can download “Somethin’ Special” online at www.att.net/TeamUSA or from AT&T MEdia Mall on your wireless handset. While you’re there, you can also watch my music video for this track and a few exclusive interviews about the song. The Team USA Soundtrack is only available through the Olympic Games (starting August 8) so don’t wait too long to check it out.
Good luck Team USA!

Hey all! I’m in NY right now on a day off! In my hotel room, tryin to think of ways to make my live shows more fun and interesting!
Ok, so…. obviously you all know I have a huge fear of stage fright. It has gotten better over the past year of performing, but… I’m still super nervous up on stage in front of everyone and I need your help! What would you like me talk about inbetween songs? I never know what to say and there is always this awkward silence between me and the audience.
So, for all of you who come to my shows, will you please write me a message and tell me what you’d like me to talk about and tell you before each song? I really could use your help!
After all, I’m up there singin for you! I’m just not much of a talker in general.Looking forward to your response…
Thanks errrrrabody!~Cc
Footage of Colbie Caillat and Jason Reeves performing ‘Droplets’ together in Akron, Ohio on April 28th has been posted online. Reeves wrote in a bulletin to his MySpace friends on Saturday (May 11):
So my brother Hans joined Colbie and I on the road for a bit of our tour last month, and caught us with his camera in Akron, Ohio for a pretty rare moment… at least these days… we don’t get to sing together as much now so when we do, I feel like it’s special.
This was one of our biggest crowds and the auditorium was just massive, so it felt cool that night…. Either way, I hope you guys enjoy the video, it’s real sound off the board.. ;) be alive. be broken. be open…

“The one thing that I want people to know about my CD is that it’s uplifting and very bright and optimistic and will put you in a good mood,” Colbie said.
“The first time I ever heard my song on the radio I was at lunch with my family and friends and we were at a restaurant and it came on in the restaurant. It was so cool when my mom got up and started dancing to it,” Colbie explained.

Colbie Caillat sent out the following bulletin to her MySpace friends on Thursday (November 29):
Hey everyone… bad news. Due to circumstances beyond my control I have to swap the songs out on my page for 90 second versions instead of full length versions. In fact some of the songs have already been swapped as I write this.
Every artist signed to a Universal label has to comply immediately.
You can listen to full versions of some of my songs on my personal webpage www.colbiecaillatmusic.com. I will make sure that the songs that were available here are available there as soon as possible.
I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience especially those that use my songs for personal profiles. Hopefully the politics involved here gets worked out soon and we can return to full length songs as soon as possible. Thank you everyone for your continued support!!
