I went to Texas without internet capabilities. Now, I’m in California preparing for the new year, and the new single! yay ;) I’m going to Interscope tomorrow to work on the web site. Kaci Brown tells Blender magazine that music isn’t just a necessary outlet for her, but an emotional crutch. “It’s my escape through hard times and sadness,” she said. “I’m pretty deep. In many ways, I’m like every other 17-year-old girl, but because I’ve been home-schooled and around adults from a young age. I don’t share the same experiences, and that can be tough.”

On the day her debut album ‘Instigator’ was released, Kaci Brown checked in with fans on her website’s forum. Brown, on tour with the Backstreet Boys, wrote Tuesday: “People Are Already Asking If The New Is Wearing Off… hmmm… answer- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? I’ve Waited My Whole Life, As Many People Do, For A Dream Like This To Become A Reality… Here I Am With An Album Coming Out (hehe TODAY!) and People Loving Me For Who I Am and What I Do. HOW COULD THAT GET OLD?!?!? I Just Want To Thank You All So Much For Being So Supportive, and Helping Make My Dreams Come True!”
