Joey Fatone: Everyone Would Have To Be On Board For *NSYNC Reunion

Joey Fatone was on the phone with Q107.5 Studio in Memphis, Tennessee during the Maney & Riley in the Morning show the other day, where the 33-year-old talked about his ‘Dance Your Ass Off’ judging gig, ugly babies, and keeping in touch with his *NSYNC bandmates Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake. “I think all the guys would have to be on board, because that’s really tough to say,” when asked about the requirements for an *NSYNC reunion. “If it wasn’t broke don’t fix it kind of thing. I think it would be like a missing an arm or a leg kind of thing if one of us were not there… It was that kind of thing at first with the Backstreet Boys because Kevin left, but they made it work and they’re kind of doing there own thing now, just the four of them. For us in a sense, because none of us wanted to leave the group so to say, but everyone ventured off and did their own thing and some of the people obviously got bigger than we anticipated. Obviously with Justin I give him so much credit. It’s cool. I give him so much credit for what he’s done, but I’m actually really happen with where I am. I’m glad I’m not in the limelight like I used to be anymore, and he’s still in it. His is even on more of a bigger level, and it’s like I’m happy I’m not you dude.”

Jonas Brothers Identify More With The Bee Gees Than *NSYNC Or BSB

The Daily Mail spoke with the Jonas Brothers, where eldest member Kevin broke down where the sibling musical trio fits in the pop landscape.

“We see ourselves as a pop rock group,” the 20-year-old told Adrian Thrills. “We don’t do dance routines. We try to rock out. People classify us as a boy band because they see the reaction of the girls when we play live. But, hey, that can’t be a bad thing. On stage, we’re all having a blast. When we started making records, we looked to groups such as *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys for inspiration. But we have far more in common with the Bee Gees. I love their harmonies and the way they reinvented themselves. We met Barry Gibb and he has become a friend of the family. He told us to take things slowly and enjoy ourselves.”

Lance Bass Discusses ‘Out Of Sync’ With CNN’s Melissa Long

CNN’s Melissa Long speaks with former *NSYNC star Lance Bass about his new tell-all book ‘Out Of Sync’. “I felt like I had four guys’ careers in my hands,” Bass said regarding his reluctance to come out. “If this secret ever got out, it would really overshadow anything that we did professionally. So it was something I kept to myself and never told one person.”

On her mother finding out, Bass said, “She actually found out on the internet. She Googled my ex, and found out he was an activist and openly gay. That kind of rang a bell in her head. She was like, ‘Wow’, and she got it at that point.”

Discussing regrets about keeping it a secret so long, Bass said, “I wish I could have been comfortable years and years ago. I think everyone should be able to be themselves at any given time, and not worry about what other people think. People live for other people’s expectations, and everyone should just live for themselves and be happy. I wish I could have come out a long time ago, especially at the height of *NSYNC. I think it really would have helped a lot of people.”

I Don’t like to push religion on anyone, so if your not religious stop reading now. I believe prayer helps a lot in our world. On that note I have a prayer request for you. Our good friend Robin Wiley was diagnosed with cancer last year, and has been fighting it ever since. She has not been doing well lately and I would like it if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She means the world to me and the guys, and I consider her the 6th member of *NSYNC. She gave us our sound and was there from day 1! I would not be singing if it were not for her. She is one of the most talented singer/songwriters ever. Many of you already know who she is if you followed our career closely. She also wrote ‘I Thought She Knew’ and arranged every a capella we ever sang. Thank you for doing this, and I know it will help her out alot! God Bless….
