Jermaine Dupri Responds To Rumors Janet Jackson Is Pregnant

Hollyscoop spoke with Jermaine Dupri at the SLS hotel grand opening in Los Angeles, where the So So Def boss said his longtime girlfriend Janet Jackson was doing fine following her undisclosed illness, but dodged questions about whether the mystery illness was related to a pregnancy.

“When she gets pregnant everyone will know,” JD said when asked about rumors he and Janet might be having a baby.

Jermaine Says The Jackson 5 Will Reunite In ’09

October 30, 2008 - Jermaine Jackson announced that the Jackson 5 will reunite next year for a world tour that would include Michael, as well as their sister Janet, who will be the opening act. “This has been a long time coming for the Jackson family to get back together,” Jermaine told Agence France-Presse. “It is just the timing, so what we’ve been doing is working on the music and all the logistics.”

I just wanted to say hello to all Jermaine’s ‘Living The Life’ YouTubers. I wanna thank you for all your messages and all your love and support. I wasn’t feeling very well. I’m a lot better now. I want to thank you for the support and I love you very much.”

Janet Jackson To Resume Tour This Weekend

October 10, 2008 - Live Nation issued a statement indicating Janet is ready to return to her ‘Rock Withchu Tour’ following an illness that put her on the sidelines. “Janet, who has been under her doctor’s care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever,” the statement from the tour promoter read. Concerts in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia and Greensboro, North Carolina had been cancelled due to the undisclosed illness. Jackson is set to return with a show on Saturday in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Janet Jackson Visits ‘Larry King Live’

Janet Jackson was spotted outside CNN studios in Hollywood on Thursday (February 28), signing autographs for fans after emerging from her limo before going inside to appear on ‘Larry King Live’.

Asked how she’s avoided ending up like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, Janet told Larry, “I have to give the credit to my parents, really. They really made sure that we were grounded. You know, it might sound silly, but I always tell this story that, regardless of how many fans are screaming for you and to how many audiences you please — thousands and thousands and thousands of people — you come home at the end of the day and we had tons of chores to do. Tons of chores to do. My parents — well, they still do have like three acres. And they used to make us rake every leaf in the yard. We’d get up at like 7:00 a.m. Every day.”

Janet Jackson Discusses ‘Discipline’, Possible Jackson 5 Reunion

February 16, 2008 - Janet Jackson is set to release her new album ‘Discipline’. The singer talked about the disc being “classic me”. Asked if she and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri have butted heads on the project, the singer told Denise Quan of CNN, “We’ve never butted heads, ever, when it comes to work.” Janet added, “If there’s something we disagree on we really try to figure it out and do what’s best for the project.”

Janet added that she’s been pressuring her brothers for a possible reunion tour. “One of my brothers, he has had a solo career, and you have to respect it. So I don’t know, he’s kind of on the fence about it. But I’m not giving up. I’m still going to work very hard. I’m going to get on his nerves until he says, ‘Fine!'” Watch the segment below.

‘Extra’ correspondent Tanika Ray caught up with Janet Jackson on the set of her new music video for ‘Feedback’, where the veteran singer revealed what fans can expect from her upcoming CD. “I love the dance. I love the mid tempo stuff,” she explained in her whisper soft voice. “I love the slow songs and the baby making songs. With news that Mariah Carey has postponed the release of her new album from December 4th to February 2008, Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com notes that the delay could create a match-up with Madonna and Janet Jackson. Friedman writes, “Get set for Diva Logjam. And to make matters even more interesting, Janet’s boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, is the producer working with Randy Jackson and others on Mariah’s CD.
