Annie Lennox Preps For Spendenmarathon & AMA Appearances

Annie Lennox updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Tuesday (November 18). The Eurythmics singer writes:

Aaarrh! The dreaded packing awaits…I’m going to Germany tomorrow for the Spendenmarathon, and after that I’m heading to LA for the AMA’s….(As you do!)

I wish it could be more like “beam me up Scotty”, but we’re not quite there yet,are we? I get SO badly jet lagged these days, it’s like having a major flu… but, it certainly keeps me busy, and out of trouble… Well, to be honest, the one thing I’d like to do more often is to spend more time in the studio. I wish there were more hours in the day, ’cause those plates sure do take some spinning, but it’s all worthwhile in the end. Yesterday I had a lovely photo session and interview for a publication for Woman and Home, which will come out in Spring ‘09…And today I recorded a programme for BBC radio 2, about the history of the arts/music and performance on behalf of Amnesty International and “human rights” in general.

We’re prepping up the SING site for DEC 1st, World Aids Day.. and laying down plans and schemes for the coming year. The fun never stops folks!
